Fall Fun...

So this weekend was just way to nice not to get outside and have some fun! Unfortunately Jon had to work all day, but we still decided to go to the Pumpkin Patch. Nana, Aunt Heidi, Connor, and Carson met us for some fall fun.

Now when I checked this place out on the Internet, I saw that they had a corn maze, hay ride, pumpkin patch, petting zoo, and a treat kitchen. Great, I thought that sounds like we could make a morning of it! So after arriving an hour earlier then it opened, we found a small farm that was selling apples and pumpkins and killed some time there until the Patch opened. Once we got back to the patch I see a lady in the drive way waving at me, so I wave back and keep driving! OOPS. I then noticed that Heidi took awhile to get to the parking area. Once we parked Heidi said "Yeah you owe me $10 for admission" Holy crap, really? I didn't see that on the website. "Yup it's per car too, so we should have all piled into one car for this." Ah well, this is what you get for letting me make the plans and not reading the website yourselves! :-) But all in all, it was worth the admission, the kids had fun, except for the corn maze which Connor hated. We would come to a dead end and he would yell, "Its a trap, we aren't going to get out of here!" Too funny! Anyway we did make it out so Connor was happy again. And I got some great fall pictures so make sure you check them out.

On to other fall news. Jon and I celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary on Oct. 1st. Well, okay celebrate is a little to big of a word since Jon worked from dusk till dark that day, but none the less we did take time to appreciate that we have a great marriage, and are both very lucky to have each other and Emma.

I went back to the orthopedic doctor and got put in my knee brace for another 4-6 weeks, which I wasn't expecting. They are going to do an MRI next week to see if there is a tare, which the doctor suspects. I will keep you updated on that when I get the results. I am back to work full time with restrictions, so that's great news for our bank account!
